The Washington County Sheriffâs office is putting FirstNet to use serving rural communities. The agency was among the first in the nation â and the very first in the State of Maryland â to subscribe to the nationwide public safety broadband network.
More than 3,600 public safety agencies across the country have now joined FirstNet. The communications platform has kept first responders connected through Hurricanes Florence and Michael, and more.
